Puppy Training or Puppy Preschool is a must for a well balanced dog. Our group puppy training is fun, hands-on and teaches you how to communicate with your puppy for life.

A Puppy is a dog for LIFE
Beautiful, soft, cheeky, bouncy, lovable, cute, cuddly all describe our new puppy - and everybody agrees. BUT, puppies grow up and become dogs and have needs to attention, interaction, walks etc.

Be aware puppies (and all dogs, regardless of breed, sex, or size) have an inbred desire to get the most out of everything and try and seize the leadership. The puppy does this with their littermates - through play fights, games etc to determine the fastest, the strongest and the best leader.

We are tempted to be drawn into these games with puppies and like to treat them like babies, only to discover that the puppy starts nipping, biting and chasing the kids.

60% of puppies' learning is between the 8 th and 16 th week - an ideal period for a puppy class. Here they learn the right social manners with people and other dogs - a crucial learning period to achieve a well behaved, problem-free dog for the years of its life.

At 8 weeks, the puppy will not yet be fully immunised and there are risks, however, vets and canine professionals strongly believe the benefits of attending a reputable puppy class outweigh any risk to the puppy. A professionally run class will have a clean and safe training environment and supply guidelines to minimise risks - whilst ensuring the puppy class is enjoyable for you and your pup - maximising learning and a fun time.

A small investment in time and money, but a very important commitment to your dog will get the best out of your friend for life!

4- Week Puppy Coach Class
Introductory training for new puppy owners and making the best of the crucial time of learning of your puppy. A must for every new puppy owner. This 4-week course is fun and hands-on, focusing on puppy socialization and basic obedience (sit, come, stay, down, walk). Includes Canine Husbandry, training techniques, toilet training, reprimanding and much more. Fun, hands-on. Held by a professional trainer for puppies from 8-16 weeks, applying positive reinforcement training. NB: at high periods of demand, additional course dates may be listed. Course may be held on other days, to meet that demand. NB: ALL COURSES NEED TO BE PREPAID. No reservations can be held without full prepayment. Use our secure online payment system.

Requirements: Soft collar and puppy leash, some treats for training, proof of 1st vaccination (certificate to be produced at 1st session. Please ensure that your puppy is 'leash friendly'. Whilst under cover, the practical training will be done outside - all weather gear may be required. NB: no chains, or chain- and extendable leashes allowed.
Disclaimer: 1st Vaccination required. The benefits of early socialization outweigh any possible health risks 50-1. Classes for puppies between 8-16 weeks only. At the sole discretion of Puppy Coach, attendees may exceptionally join at week two, should the course have started by coming earlier in lieu of the first session. All classes are subject to minimum numbers - please see conditions page. NB: ALL COURSES NEED TO BE PREPAID.
